Hof – between Fichtelgebirge and Frankenwald
Come and see the most beautiful part of Hof and use the varied offer of the wonderful surroundings.
Hof at the top of Bavaria – Hof is situated on the beautiful Saale in Upper Franconia.
Thuringia and Saxony the two neighbouring provinces as well as the wonderful Czech Republic are only a few kilometres away and a visit there will be worth it.
Frankenwald and Fichtelgebirge are a few steps from here and ideal for hiking tours.
Enjoy the breathtaking landscape and relax at the swimming lakes and large water dams in the summer.
There are also a lot of possibilities for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing.
Franconia is also well-known and famous for its gastronomic specialities like sausages and meat. Please try necessarily the original “Hofer Wäschtla” and convince yourself of the outstanding quality and the unique taste.
Crosstown Hof there is the local recreation area Untreusee.
A wonderful swimming lake, a climbing area and a labyrinth invite our guests to spend an exciting day.
The beautiful Theresienstein Germany’s oldest citizen park is only a few minutes away by foot from our landhotel.
The park even was “Germany’s most beautiful park” in 2003 and it provides a lot of great walks and promenades.
Further you can find many interesting museums like the “Deutsch-Deutsche Museum in Mödlareuth”.
About 1 kilometre away from the hotel there is the well-kept 18-hole golf course of the Hof Golfclub.
It provides an extraordinary offer for beginners and advanced players. There our hotel guests get a “Greenfee reduction of 20%” and they will have a very welcome drink in our house.
Only a few minutes from our landhotel there are the diverse riding stables. On demand it is possible to book riding lessons there.
You can also hire horse boxes here in order that your horse is always well-kept during your stay.
